Shannon and I went to a quilt show in Henderson Nv on Sat. It was small but there were many beautiful quilts and quite a few vendors. We were surprised at the number of them that came in from Arizona, Calif and Utah. I was able to buy two dies for my "go baby" cutter on sale. One is a tumbler block and the other an apple core. I started to sew blocks together then realized I had no clue what I was doing :). I read online I need to sew rows then sew the rows together stitching together every other set of blocks then turning the row over and stitching the missed blocks. The seems are very easy with my satin edge foot from creative feet. That lady said curves were a snap with that foot and she was right.
I also decided to stencil the plain blocks in my lap quilt. I have a few more to do but I like it. I also have blocks sewn together for the backing. I have actually been busy with my quilting for a change. Nice.

I also like the stencil, it adds a lot to it.
