It is Halloween already. I have been busy with a few things. I crocheted these decorations and also made the ghosts hanging in the tree. Shannon and I also went on a trip to St George Utah and went to the pumpkin farm and bought our pumpkins. Today we carved them. We are going to my sisters for dinner and to pass out candy. We have not lived where we can pass out candy in forever. It should be fun

Once again I have not been blogging for quite some time. I have been doing some quilting and some crafting. My newest craft creation is this Halloween wreath. I am also working on another baby quilt. This one is for a great niece who arrived September 21st. Her name is Trinity Nicole. She is my nephews first baby. I also have bow tie blocks on my design wall. Eventually they will become a quilt that I will donate to quilts for kids. It's been a hot summer but then when you live in the desert it usually is.

I know I should wait until I am finished but the fact that I was able to sit and get this much done excited me so much I have to share now. I had such fun with this. Glad I had my go baby to cut the flowers and circles. Then I fussy cut the sesame street fabric and sewed those pieces as the flower centers. I hope Zoey Marie likes it.

Still alive and kicking. Not a lot of energy so not getting much done. Shannon and I did take a short vacation the first of June. It was fun. Went to Oregon and then drove the coast of Calif before coming home. Stopped at lots of quilt shops and had a great time. Working on a baby quilt for a great niece. Baby came on the 12th so I guess I better get going.

It has been quite a long time since I posted here.
On April 21st my granddaughter got married. In another week her and her husband will be leaving for Montana. Gueran is in the Airforce and will be stationed there.
I just finished this quilt for my nieces step daughter who has leukemia. Took me forever to finish. I also added an embroidered pillow

I bought this kit a few years ago in Arizona where I was visiting my sister and a friend. Never got around to working on it until this last week. Rather fun and easy to do and very relaxing. I recently bought another of these "quilt magic" kits, this new one is a Christmas theme. Will start it soon I hope. First I plan to make my nieces step daughter a quilt. They just found out she has Leukemia. Bianca is almost 14 years old.

Shannon and I went to a quilt show in Henderson Nv on Sat. It was small but there were many beautiful quilts and quite a few vendors. We were surprised at the number of them that came in from Arizona, Calif and Utah. I was able to buy two dies for my "go baby" cutter on sale. One is a tumbler block and the other an apple core. I started to sew blocks together then realized I had no clue what I was doing :). I read online I need to sew rows then sew the rows together stitching together every other set of blocks then turning the row over and stitching the missed blocks. The seems are very easy with my satin edge foot from creative feet. That lady said curves were a snap with that foot and she was right.
I also decided to stencil the plain blocks in my lap quilt. I have a few more to do but I like it. I also have blocks sewn together for the backing. I have actually been busy with my quilting for a change. Nice.

My gosh it's the 15Th of January already. Sure hope everyone is having a good year so far.
We have been busy doing some remodeling of the house. It's a slow process since I can't do much and Shannon works two jobs. But we did finally get the living room finished up. Tore out the carpet and laid new flooring, painted and put up new curtains. Shannon made a quilt rack!!! It's a half ladder. One 2x2 and some doweling. I had a hard time finding enough to hang on it and most of the tops are just that "tops". I will finish them up one day.
